Requirement:
Senior Java Developer
Mandatory
•6 - 9 yrs. Experience in design and Development of Java Batch applications using jdk 1.8 or higher version
based on Spring Batch framework involving Complex Batch jobs with multiple processing steps and different
input/output file formats
•Hands on experience in designing Java Batch applications in Azure cloud with sound knowledge of
Kafka messaging and Azure services such as Logic App for scheduling and process orchestration, Functions,
Blob Storage, WebJobs etc.
•Must have event driven process implementation experience for converting batch processes to real time
processing
•Ability to review code, provide guidance and team mentoring in addition to own deliverable with excellent quality
•Strong in Core Java,JDBC,SQL, XML with excellent knowledge of memory management, Exception handling, File
Sorting
•Experience in working with Eclipse IDE, SVN repository, JIRA based bug tracking, automated Build and
deployment
•Experience with Azure SQL DB and excellent understanding of SQL queries
•Must have knowledge and understanding of Batch processing involving Batch Job definiton, Multi-step jobs, File
or message based triggering,implementation and dependency on other jobs
•Knowledge of Non-functional Requirements like Performance, Security addressed in Batch processes
•Must have implementation experience involving Batch process optimization and reusability
•Experience in Agile methodology
•Preferable to have an experience in Mainframe to Java Migration with knowledge of typical challenges
encountered and resolutions, maintaining and using issue repository
•Ability to reverse engineer an existing Batch module to understand design and processing
•Experience in leading team to delivery good quality code with stringent delivery timelines
•Excellent problem solving skills
•Excellent Communication skills
Nice to Have
•Preferable to have an experience in Mainframe to Java Batch Migration with knowledge of typical challenges
encountered
like Intermdiate File elimination, File Sorting, Packed decimals to Ascii conversion and resolutions
•Experience with SDLC tools, Maven based Build management, Continuous integration tools, DevOps tools &
processes.
